Rosa Addabbo Couture is the fashion house founded by the stylist from Puglia (Apulia), who settled in Occitanie, a region in southern France. Rosa Addabbo studied fashion in Italy and deepened her knowledge in France with the secrets of corsetry. Today, her creations combine Italian elegance with French chic and are undoubtedly Haute Couture.
On November 29th, 2025, at the “Méditerranée” Congress Center in Cap d’Agde, the very first edition of Fashion Week Occitanie was inaugurated, with a particular focus on sustainability (the event’s poster announced a Glam Up Cycling contest: sustainable fashion, but still “glamorous”).
The event was anchored, in French, by singer and DJ Rodolphe Andrieu and, in Italian, by showgirl, event organizer, and fashion journalist Elena Parmegiani. The guests of the evening were the lyric singer Daria Davidoff, actresses Demetra Hampton and Nadia Bengala, the unforgettable Miss Italia. Among the guests were also Enzo Centonze, art director of the “Premio Moda Città dei Sassi”, and fashion photographer Vincenzo Testa, back from the “Royale Wedding” Fair in Beirut, Lebanon.
On the catwalk, in addition to Rosa Addabbo Couture, the collections of French and international stylists were showcased. There were also Italians: Gianni Cirillo and Jessica Cavarischia with her brand “Ikigai”.
The theme of one of Rosa Addabbo’s collections presented at Fashion Week Occitanie was “the 1920s”, Prohibition in the USA, parties inspired by Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby”, and burlesque elements.
In her speech at the first edition of Fashion Week Occitanie, Rosa Addabbo emphasized her determination to decentralize French fashion, which is too focused on Paris, creating a new capital in the vast French region of Occitanie (with Toulouse, Bordeaux, Narbonne, Montpellier, Pézenas, Cap d’Agde, to name just a few of the most well-known locations).
Rosa has been involved in haute couture for over four decades. She creates models, realizes them, and also teaches young people, guiding them through their journey of knowledge and creativity. She is committed to educating them on environmentally responsible, ethical fashion.
Her fashion house is also the seat of her Academy, where fashion design and sartorial arts are taught. The full name of the institution where Rosa teaches artisanal fashion is High School of design and of Italian fashion.
Her students have the opportunity to be involved in Fashion Week Occitanie, learning something from both the backstage and the runway shows.
Rosa Addabbo Couture is an atelier that combines Italian tradition with the creativity of the Southern France, offering wedding and evening dresses for gala events and high-end prêt-à-porter. The garments are entirely handmade, with carefully selected fabrics and details that enhance every woman. Each piece is numbered, baptized with the name of the bride, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
These are unique and irreplaceable pieces that can, upon request, be provided with equally personalized accessories such as lingerie, jewelry, hats, bags, and veils.
Rosa Addabbo, combining the best traditions of Italian and French fashion, has repeatedly participated in the “Premio Moda Città dei Sassi” in Matera, bringing with her emerging stylists who are her students. And now, her intention is to organize the “Premio moda” in France, preserving the format but adding what is specific to French haute couture.
The Fashion Week Occitanie created by Rosa Addabbo is also a charity event that raises funds for the Montpellier Cancer Institute. The event puts haute couture at the service of solidarity, opening the doors of Occitanie to young stylists and those who want to pursue a career in luxury.
Thanks to her “made in Italy, made in Occitanie” approach, Rosa Addabbo Couture has become a reference point for those seeking utmost elegance without compromise.
Rosa Addabbo Couture represents the perfect fusion of Italian mastery and the vivacity of the French South, offering every woman the opportunity to wear a garment that tells her story. A true “must-have” for those who love authentic fashion, carefully crafted in every detail and supported by a lifelong passion.
The municipality of Cap d’Agde and the Mayor of the city have supported the idea of the Fashion Week and congratulated Rosa Addabbo on the organization of the event.
For the second edition, the stylist aims to double the results obtained in 2025. More fashion, more school, more sustainability, more prestige, and, of course, more glamour.
The media coverage of Fashion Week Occitanie in Italy has been entrusted to “Giornale Speciale” and “Paese Roma”.
